Becoming a MAST Freelance Partner

Experience

At MAST, we would like prospective partners to have a minimum of five years of relevant industry experience. This experience demonstrates a solid foundation and understanding of the industry dynamics, market trends, and best practices.

Experience is key and it is not a pre-requisite for potential partners to possess industry-specific qualifications such as certifications, licenses, or educational degrees that validate expertise and knowledge in the industry.

However, any such qualifications would be included In your personal profile as this would lend authority to any potential client.

Track record

A track record of success: Demonstrating a track record of success is crucial. Partners should have a proven history of achieving positive outcomes, meeting targets, and delivering exceptional results in their previous roles or ventures. This could include successful project management, leadership, business growth, or client satisfaction.

Strong business acumen: Partners in MAST are expected to have a deep understanding of business operations and possess strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities. They should be able to identify opportunities, develop business plans, make informed decisions, and navigate challenges effectively.

Leadership

As a partner, the ability to lead and work collaboratively with others is essential. Partners should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with clients, employees, and other stakeholders. Coaching and mentoring skills will enhance client relationships and support the change process clients will inevitably have to experience.

Partners with international exposure, cross-cultural awareness, and the ability to work effectively in diverse teams are highly valued.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are essential for partners. They should have a structured and logical approach to solving complex business problems, as well as the ability to generate innovative insights and recommendations.

Partners are expected to have a deep understanding of business operations, strategic thinking abilities, and the capability to make informed decisions. They should demonstrate strong business acumen and the ability to identify opportunities for growth.

Adaptability and learning agility: The partnership role requires individuals who can adapt quickly to new environments and learn rapidly. The ability to navigate ambiguity, think critically, and thrive in challenging situations is highly desirable.

Financial Stability

Financial stability is a compulsory requirement for a partnership role with MAST. Candidates should possess the necessary resources, capital, and financial management skills to fulfill the responsibilities associated with the partnership position.

Any assignments completed on behalf of MAST will be freelance, Partners will set their own fee structure depending on the assignment. Potential clients will sign off on this fee by paying a 5% deposit directly to MAST prior to any activity taking place. To establish the fee an initial free scoping exercise which will be completed by the partner

Fees are paid to partners on completion of satisfactory sign-off from the client , Partner's will receive 100% of any fees earned, including the 5% deposit, once the clients have paid.
